Tenute Le Potazzine is a family-owned winery located in the hills of Montalcino, in the heart of Tuscany, renowned for its elegant Brunello di Montalcino wines made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. Founded in 1993, the estate has earned a strong reputation through its artisanal approach, focused on balance, finesse, and respect for local traditions.

The winery is run by Gigliola Giannetti and her daughters, Viola and Sofia Gorelli. The name “Le Potazzine” comes from a affectionate nickname given to the two sisters by their grandmother, referring to small colorful birds commonly found in the Tuscan countryside. Today, this all-female team represents a new generation of Tuscan winemakers, combining tradition, sensitivity, and precision in crafting their wines.
